Salman Khan’s next movie Battle of Galwan has been making headlines for its release date of late. Now, there’s a new update on the movie. As per Mid-Day, the film is nearing completion and is expected to wrap up within a month’s time i.e. by March. The makers are, in fact, shooting for a celebratory song in full swing. The movie is expected to undergo post-production soon after.

The report states that Battle of Galwan’s special dance number shoot commenced on February 6. Shabina Khan, who dance directed Salman in Tubelight song Naach Meri Jaan, Radhe’s Dil De Diya and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s Naiyo Lagda, is choreographing the track. An insider shared, “It’s a celebratory song. The unit is currently filming in Gorai, after which they will move to a set that has been constructed at Golden Tobacco in Vile Parle.” The dance number is expected to wrap up by February 12, following which the film will be shot for two more weeks.

When is Battle of Galwan actually releasing?

Just a day after Akshay Kumar announced that Bhooth Bangla will be preponed for April 10 release, there was speculation that Salman Khan’s Battle of Galwan has been pushed for Independence Day. However, the latest buzz is that the makers are indeed convinced about the Eid release and might shift the date only if they cannot keep up with the timeline. The insider said, “It’s all speculation stemming from talk that the film may need a clearance from the Ministry of Defence. The makers are aiming for an Eid release. If they are unable to meet it, they’ll line it up for Independence Day.” This means that if Battle of Galwan post-production can be completed in under a month, then the movie might release by April itself. An official confirmation from director Apoorva Lakhia is still awaited.
