After its theatrical and online premiere, the Dileep-Mohanlal film failed to make a mark on the audience. Nonetheless, it has achieved a record-breaking 100 million streaming minutes on these platforms.

As anticipated, more people visited the streaming website after Bha Bha Ba's digital release, primarily to understand why the movie didn't make an impression on audiences during its theatrical run. In just 48 hours, the film has amassed over 100 million streaming minutes, and more people are watching it to figure out how unappealing it is. People outside of Kerala are also seeing the movie and expressing their opinions on social media despite it not being available in other South Indian languages. Despite receiving a lot of streaming time, Bha Bha Ba has not received much positive feedback, with many criticising the makers for creating a plot that is too nonsensical and noisy characters that are uninteresting.

The movie had a fantastic start on Day 1 of its theatrical run before seeing a decline that resulted in a disappointing box office collection of less than Rs 50 crores worldwide. Despite Mohanlal's much anticipated cameo and the presence of numerous prominent Malayalam actors, such as Vineeth and Dhyan Sreenivasan, Bha Bha Ba did poorly at the box office.
