Bhagyashree’s daughter Avantika Dassani to make her Telugu debut with Ganesh Bellamkonda’s Nenu Student Sir

Ganesh Bellamkonda, son of producer Bellamkonda Suresh and brother to actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, made his acting debut with the family entertainer Swathimuthyam recently. The film met with positive feedback from critics upon release. Now, the one-film actor has moved onto his next project, Nenu Student Sir, directed by a newcomer Rakhi Uppalapati.
A crucial update surrounding Nenu Student Sir was revealed today. Maine Pyaar Kiya actress Bhagyashree’s daughter Avantika Dassani, who forayed into the industry with Rohan Sippy’s web show Mithya, has been finalised as the female lead for this project. She is cast as a college student in the film. Her first look, where’s sporting denims in front of library, was launched by the makers.
Avantika Dassani essays the role of a girl named Sruthi Vasudevan. Nenu Student Sir is the second production from SV2 Entertainment, founded by ‘Naandhi’ fame Satish Varma. Krishna Chaitanya has penned the story for the same. Samuthirakani, Sunil, Srikanth Iyengar, Auto Ramprasad, Charandeep, Pramodhini and Ravi Sivateja play supporting roles in the film.
Mahati Swara Sagar scores the music for the film with Anith Madhadi cranking the camera. Chota K Prasad is the editor, while Kalyan Chakravarthy is the dialogue writer. The film’s shoot was wrapped up recently and the team is now tied up with post-production formalities. Raghu is the sole choreographer for the project. Ram Krishna is the stunt choreographer.
Ganesh’s first film Swathimuthyam, written and directed by Lakshman K Krishna, was produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas. Varsha Bollamma had played the leading lady in the entertainer that released on October 5 across the globe. Telugu OTT platform aha has acquired the streaming rights.
