The makers promoted the film aggressively ahead of its release, and the action drama ended as a decent success at the box office. It collected close to ₹17 crore and ended in the safe zone. We at OTTplay were the first to reveal that ZEE5 acquired the digital rights for a fancy price and would stream the film from July 18, 2025. You can also stream the film in Hindi and Telugu here on OTTplay Premium.
Since its OTT release, the film has taken a great start. A source close to the film’s team revealed that Bhairavam has clocked just over 50 million streaming minutes in just two days of its digital release. This shows how eagerly the film was awaited by audiences.
Bhairavam tells the story of three close friends who become enemies due to a minor land dispute. Manchu Manoj, who was going through a rough patch in his career, made a strong comeback with this film, as his dialogue delivery and performance were widely appreciated.
Nara Rohit was seen in a mature role, while Bellamkonda Srinivas returned to success with his strong character. The film is also special as it marked the Telugu debut of star director Shankar’s daughter, Aditi Shankar. She played a fun role that has been trending online.
Interestingly, a section of the audience that skipped the film in theatres due to its intense action and violence has now started streaming it in large numbers on ZEE5.
In the coming days, it will be interesting to see how Bhairavam performs on OTT in the days to come. Stay tuned for more updates.
