The first look poster for East Coast Vijayan's next movie "Bheeshmar," which stars Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Dhyan Sreenivasan in the key roles, has been unveiled. The makers released the poster on the occasion of Vijayadashami today (October 2).

Additionally, Bhishmar marks the first time that Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Dhyan Sreenivasan would be working together. Following Kallanum Bhagavathiyum, this is the second movie in which East Coast Vijayan and Vishnu Unnikrishnan are collaborating.
The supporting cast of the movie includes Indrans, Unni Lalu, Shaju Sridhar, Akhil Kavalayoor, Manikandan Achari, Senthil Krishna, Jibin Gopinath, Vineeth Thattil, Santosh Keezhattoor, Binu Thrikkakara, Abu Salim, Jayan Cherthala, Sohan Seenulal, Vishnu Groovy, Sreeraj, and Shiny Vijayan in addition to Divya Pillai and two newcomers as female leads. The script has been written by Ansaj Gopi. Johnkutty is doing the editing, and Ratheesh Ram is in charge of the camera. Ranjin Raj is the composer of the film's music.

The film, which is available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video, was co-written and directed by East Coast Vijayan. Additionally, it is an adaption of K V Anil's book of the same name. In addition to Vishnu Unnikrishnan, the film features important performances by Mokksha, Anusree, Srikant Murali, Rajesh Madhavan, Salim Kumar, Maala Parvathy, and Noby Marcose.
After being identified as a thief, Mathappan Unni, the film's protagonist, made the decision to end his own life. Unable to make any money, Mathappan's last resort is to try to steal the idol from a temple in his small town. Priyamani, meanwhile, attempts to regain the house her father mortgaged. Therefore, she advises Mathappan to steal the idol of Bhagwati from a wooden cave shrine on the other side of the river. Later on, the intangible connection between the thief and Bhagwati transforms his life.
