Bholaa out on OTT: Here's where you can finally watch the Ajay Devgn directorial online
Ajay Devgn in Bholaa

After being available on rent for a few days, Bholaa is currently streaming on Prime Video. The Ajay Devgn directorial features the actor in the titular role. The film, which is the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil blockbuster Kaithi also features Tabu and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles.

In the film, after being released from jail, ex-con Bholaa makes plans to finally meet his daughter. A well-planned cocaine bust, however, thwarted his efforts. His adventure starts with a bizarre encounter and continues with strange obstacles and the constant threat of death. Things aren't what they seem at first glance. Can we expect to see him reunited with his kid?

Earlier, during an interaction with PTI, while describing Bholaa the actor-filmmaker said that it doesn't matter how well-intentioned one's action is if no one will respond to it. When it comes to feelings, he doesn't think mainstream and family audiences are different. The love a parent feels for their child is universal, just as all parents feel the same way.

While he also told Variety that the plot will largely remain the same, as that is one of the most important aspects of any remake, they have changed a lot of the script, the characters, and the way individuals act. The drama has evolved; the emotional impact has been, well, heightened and emphasised.

He added that their intention was to heighten the overall drama, action sequences, and tension because this is a large-scale film and an action film. Ajay doesn't think people have seen much of the kind of environment, setting, and action that they have developed.

Furthermore, the actor added that the conclusion of Bholaa leaves one wanting more, although one can rest assured that it won't be another Vikram or a ripoff. Because they will be introducing a wide variety of new personalities. So, in that sense, it will be a continuation; at least, that's the plan.
