Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4: Anees Bazmee hints at Akshay Kumar's comeback alongside Kartik Aaryan; 'There's great bond of friendship...'

When Bhool Bhulaiyaa starring Akshay Kumar was released in 2007, it was a hit at the box office and is still loved by the audience. Kartik Aaryan then headlined the second and the third part of the film taking forward the franchise and making it a blockbuster. After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, fans are eagerly waiting for the fourth installment. Since Kartik came on board for the horror-comedy, fans have been anticipating Akshay's cameo in the film and now Anees Bazmee revealed if the OG star will be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4. Akshay Kumar, to star alongside Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4?

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, filmmaker Anees Bazmee talked about the possibility of Akshay Kumar in the fourth part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. He said that it would be an exciting collaboration (Akshay and Kartik Aaryan) but he would only do it if the script permits. “There is a great bond of friendship, love, and everything. If the story fits, I’d be really happy to have him back," Bazmee said.

Recently, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 starring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri was released. The film was a box office success and was appreciated by the critics as well as the audience. Made on a budget of around Rs 150 crore, it earned Rs 400 crore at the Indian box office. However, Bazmee said that it could have earned more if it did not clash with Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, which was released on the same day.

"It would have been great for both films without a clash. If we had a solo release, then the business would have doubled and the same applies to them as well. I know that I believe it. Main kuch kar naahi sakta tha (I couldn’t do anything about it)," Bazmee told Galatta Plus.
