Singer Amaal Mallik was revealed to be the sixteenth and final contestant of Bigg Boss 19. While announcing his participation, Salman Khan confessed that he is still surprised that Amaal is participating in the show. He even asked him why he decided to go in Bigg Boss, as his career is working fine. Amaal shared that he wishes to learn new things, and this might be a unique opportunity to experience all that.

During the conversation, Salman Khan asked him about his personal life, and the music composer revealed that he is currently single and has been out of a serious relationship. He also shared that he waited for his love to return and hoped for it, but things turned out different.

"I am single now. Thodi umeed thi pyaar lautega, but vo nahi hua," Amaal said. Salman chipped in and said that it is fine and he should now make a song on that. Amaal also recalled his journey when he opened up about depression and how his parents were surprised by his social media post. For the unversed, a few months ago Amaal Mallik blamed his parents for being distant with his brother Armaan Malik and also confessed to suffering from depression. The post was later deleted.
