For now, the grand premiere remains as scheduled, but if the situation worsens, it could affect the promotional activities planned for the show. “Due to heavy rains and waterlogging in the city, the Bigg Boss house tour and related activities have been put on hold for now. We regret the inconvenience. We will keep you informed on further developments, depending on the situation with the rains,” was the official message conveyed to the media.

Sonali Bendre-Salman Khan's reunion after Hum Saath-Saath Hain

Sonali Bendre is expected to be one of the first guests on Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 19 grand premiere, as per an India Today report. She would be on the reality show to promote her own ongoing TV show, Pati Patni Aur Panga. This would be Sonali and Salman Khan’s reunion since 1999, when their movie Hum Saath-Saath Hain released.

Sonali co-hosts the show with Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui. Swara Bhasker and her husband Fahad Ahmed, who are participants on Pati Patni Aur Panga are also likely to join Salman Khan's show. Fahad is a politician, and that is the theme of Bigg Boss 19. Thus, the makers have invited the couple this time around.
