Although unconfirmed by the makers, the upcoming season 9 of Bigg Boss Kannada might be released in two different versions. The first is a more concise or mini form which could be a straight-to-OTT release spanning over 45 days – the mini-season, reportedly, will premiere in the first week of August. On the other hand, the full-fledged season 9 is likely to premiere sometime in October of 2022 but the exact date is yet to be divulged by the makers. Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 will premiere on Colors Kannada.

As far as the contestants are concerned, the show makers are yet to release the final list but reports have already revealed many interesting names. From veteran Kannada film comedian Tennis Krishna to filmmaker Ravi Srivastava, ‘90s superstar actor Prema (Om Nanna Preethiya Hudugi) to ex-India cricketer Vinay Kumar, the show is likely to feature many fascinating personalities from various fields.

The eighth season of Bigg Boss Kannada was a major success despite the consistent obstructions by the pandemic. Manju Pavagada was adjudged the winner.
