Even Bigg Boss host Mohanlal rebuked Lakshmi for her unsavoury comments and said that he would invite them home. Now, Lakshmi’s mother has entered the Bigg Boss House, and appeared more welcoming of Adhila and Noora as she treated them with affection. She even invited them home, which is a significant and heartwarming gesture, considering that Lakshmi had claimed that they are not welcome at anyone's homes.

It is family week in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7. In episode 61 of BBM7, Oneal, Nevin and Lakshmi’s families entered the house together. Lakshmi’s mother, Latha, interacted warmly with all the contestants.

Latah, a teacher by profession, invited all contestants to her home in Ambalappuzha. She specifically named Adhila and Noora. “"If she is against you both entering the house, you can stay in the sit-out," she said jokingly and laughed. Adhila and Noora were also seen joining in the laughter.

The middle-aged woman went on to say that each person has an individuality and opinions. She pointed at the young girls and said, "You look like my younger daughter Parvathy." Noora asked if she meant her, and Lakshmi’s mother responded in the affirmative. Latha signed off by saying that she only had affection for everyone.

Lakshmi’s mother also addressed her daughter’s spat with Oneal. She said that she was happy to see Lakshmi apologise to Oneal.

What is the homophobic comment Lakshmi made against Adhila-Noora

The incident happened in the second week of September as Laksmi made deeply hurtful statements against Adhila and Noora.

She told Akbar that “they won’t be even let into your homes”.

This remark sparked a huge outrage on social media and Mohanlal too did not shy away from addressing the issue during the weekend episode. He asked Lakshmi how could she make such insensitive comments, and further said that he would welcome Adhila and Noora into his home.
