Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 (streaming on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium) has entered its final week after three months of drama, conflicts and controversies. In the latest update, contestant Sabumon has been evicted from Bigg Boss Malayalam during the weekend episode. Now only seven contestants are left in the popular reality show, with host Mohanlal announcing that a mid-week eviction is on the cards.

Bigg Boss Malayalam host Mohanlal has announced a mid-week eviction before the grand finale, slated to be held on November 9, 2025. With contestant Sabumon’s exit, only seven contestants remain in the house. In the weekend episode, Mohanlal gave a word of advice and caution to the Bigg Boss contestants.

“Next week, when we meet, I don't know how many of you will be there. Play the game well. This is a new chapter. The only goal before you is the finale. Let’s wait and watch who all will enter the final?,” the Malayalam superstar said.

Sabumon evicted from Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7

Sabumon, a wild card contestant, has been evicted from the show. During Sunday’s episode, Mohanlal listed three names for eviction - Nevin, Sabumon and Adhila, who waited by the door with blindfolds. Finally, he announced that Sabumon was getting evicted, with Nevin and Adhila heaving a sigh of relief while reentering the house and embracing other contestants. After eviction, Sabumon said that he was happy he had survived this far.

Notably, only Noora was exempted from eviction this weekend after she secured the Ticket to Finale.

The seven contestants now left are Noora, Nevin, Adhila, Akbar, Aneesh, Shanavas and Anumol. The Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 grand finale will be held on November 9, 2025. The superstar signed off by saying that he would return for grand finale on Sunday.
