Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 is only two episodes old but the discussions are already on about eviction in the very first week. The Bigg Boss Malayalam returned with 19 contestants on Sunday, and the first nomination round has already been held. Will there be an eviction in the first week of BB Malayalam, and if so, who are the contestants in the danger zone? Let’s take a look.

Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 to see eviction in first week

Iconic actor Mohanlal returned as the host of the Bigg Boss Malayalam for the seventh consecutive time on August 3, 2025. While it is too early to say if there will be eviction in the first week, some of the contestants are already in the danger zone after votes were made against them in the nomination round.

After the launch episode, the second episode also made a rocky start, witnessing the first major fight, which had most of the contestants ganging up against commoner contestant Aneesh. But in a twist that came as a shock to many, Aneesh was declared the captain by Bigg Boss. This means that he cannot be eliminated even though he faced much opposition from his other housemates during the second episode.

In the first round, eight contestants were nominated - Shaithya Santhosh, Munshi Ranjeet, Renu Sudhi, Nevin, Gizele, Aryan Kathuria, Anumol, and Sariga.

Actress Anumol and Sariga, who got two votes each, and actor Aryan Kathuria (with three votes) are unlikely to face the heat of eviction. Renu Sudhi, wife of late actor Kollam Sudhi, is not exactly considered to be in danger of eviction. Viewers are curious to know what she would bring to the show, despite being one of the contestants with the most number of haters online.

But this is not the case with contestants like Shaitya, who has not been able to create much of an impression. Shaitya got five votes, and is closely followed by Munshi Ranjith, Nevin and Mumbai-based Gizele Thakral, who all got four votes each. Shaitya’s complacent attitude could fetch an exit card.

Similar is the case of Gizele Thakral, but her problem is that she has not been able to communicate properly, and language also seems to be a barrier for her. Interestingly, Shanavas nominated Gizele, pinpointing her choice of clothes and stating that it is not in line with Kerala's culture. But this led to Shanavas facing backlash, with netizens calling out his double standards as he was seen in shorts while making the disparaging comments. Whether this would lead to him getting nominated for eviction, we would have to wait and watch.

Contestants such as Angamaly Diaries actor Appani Sarath, and RJ Bincy, on the other hand, are very much in the safe zone as they were not named by anybody during the first nomination round.
