The latest MCU film mounted Rs 48.50 crores in India with its theatrical release.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was one of the most anticipated MCU films in 2022. The Ryan Coogler directorial is a tribute to the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who rose to fame with his character T'Challa aka Black Panther in the prequel part of the film.

The first part starring Boseman earned Rs. 52.53 Cr from India and was regarded as a success, while Black Panther: Wakanda Forever bagged Rs. 48.50 crores in India with its theatrical release.

The makers unveiled the OTT release date of the Marvel movie with a special post on January 5, while recently the creators of the film also dropped multiple character posters of the film in a special social media post on Disney+ Hotstar's official Instagram handle. The post reads, "The biggest war, the time is now. Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is streaming February 1 in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu & Malayalam. (sic)."

The story and screenplay of the movie are done by the director himself along with Joe Robert Cole. Based on Marvel Comics, the action-drama flick is backed by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore under the banner of Marvel Studios.

Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Martin Freeman, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Angela Bassett star in the movie in pivotal roles.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar in five languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam from February 1.
