Released in 2017, this Chinese-English sci-fi action drama garnered much popularity. Now, the movie is set to make its India debut through Lionsgate Play.
Jackie Chan’s Chinese-English sci-fi film–Bleeding Steel is set to make its India debut on Lionsgate Play, on December 6, 2024. Apart from Chan, the movie also features Tess Haubrich, Nana Ou-Yang, Callan Mulvey, Erica Xia-Hou, Show Lo, and Damien Garvey.
Lin Dong (Jackie Chan), a determined police officer in Hong Kong, discovers that his missing daughter has had a mysterious device surgically placed inside her body. This device is part of a dangerous new invention that could have devastating consequences. Lin suspects that a powerful and secretive army is behind this, and that they are using the device to cause a strange and unexplained event.
Now to uncover the truth and find his daughter, Lin teams up with a skilled hacker who helps him piece together the clues and connect the dots between the implanted device, the sinister army, and the mysterious phenomenon.
In an interview with The Salt Lake Tribune portal in 2017, the Taiwanese singer-actress Nana Ou-Yang shared her profound experience working with superstar Jackie Chan in Bleeding Steel. Nana Ou-Yang played the daughter’s role of Jackie’s character, Lin Dong.
Nana Ou-Yang stated that whenever she sees Jackie Chan working tirelessly, it makes her feel inadequate. She recalled that even the Hong Kong star also adviced her that she should work harder till she stays young so that when she gets old, she doesn't have any regrets.
