Bonny Sengupta and Koushani Mukherjee have a series of films lined up. While their Antarjal will release soon, the duo will be seen in Rohan Sen’s new film Subho Bijoya and Haranath Chakraborty’s Dal Bati Churma. In Rohan’s family drama, the duo will be seen with veteran director-actor Kaushik Ganguly and Churni Ganguly. Bonny said that he is looking forward to working with Kaushik and Churni.

In an interview with Etimes, Bonny said that working with these veteran actors will be like attending an acting class. “I am looking forward to the film which will go on the floors soon. Working with actors like Kaushikda, Churnidi and Kharajda (Mukherjee) will be like going to an acting school. I hope to learn a lot from them,” said Bonny.

This will be the first time two real-life couples – Kaushik Churni and Bonny-Koushani – will be seen on screen.

The teaser poster of Bijoya Dashami was unveiled at an event in Kolkata. Along with Bonny, other cast and crew members were present at the do. Since the film has a deep Durga Puja connection, the poster was unveiled amid the sound of conch and dhaak. The Puja vibe has been recreated at the event.

The film is about a traditional joint family that gradually got fragmented as the members dispersed. An incident forced the estranged family members to get back to their ancestral house.

Anindya Chatterjee, Savvy and Ranojoy will compose the music for the film. Savvy will create the background music also. Manas Ganguly will be the DOP of the film.

Meanwhile, Bonny and Koushani are busy shooting Dal Bati Churma with Haranath Chakraborty. The shooting started on July 11 in North Kolkata. The film brings up the cultural differences between North and South Kolkata. Bonny will be seen as a guy of non-Bengali origin and Koushin, a Bengali girl.
