Border 2 opened advance bookings in India on Monday (January 19) morning and quickly gained traction. In just over 24 hours, the war drama has crossed Rs 2.5 crore in first-day advance bookings, Sacknilk reported. The film has already sold over 73,000 tickets nationwide across close to 11,000 shows. As exhibitors add more screens, the pace is expected to increase further, with BookMyShow currently selling around 2,000 tickets per hour.

Meanwhile, Border 2 has already surpassed Jaat’s day 1 advance booking total of Rs. 2.4 crore. It has already outperformed India's highest-grossing film, Dhurandhar, which was at Rs. 1 crore, while Gadar 2 stood at around Rs. 2.2 crore. It is a positive sign for Border 2 to surpass both films in terms of pre-sales, especially the first day earnings of Rs. 28 crore and Rs. 40 crore respectively.

By the look of advance booking scene, Border 2 is expected to go beyond expectations at the box office.
