Finally, the theme song for Brahmastra is out. The track describes the power of Ranbir Kapoor's character, who is the Agniastra in the film. The video features a few glimpses from Brahmastra wherein the lead character goes through a self-discovery journey only to know that the power lies within him.

The Shiva Theme also shows the love RK's character has for Isha, played by Alia Bhatt. She is the one who ignites the power of fire, which he doesn't realise is his superpower.

Shiva's strength has no bounds, bursting through with the force of fire and wreaking havoc. The Shiva Theme which was composed by Pritam, penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and sung by Javed Ali, is a hymn to the power of love.

On his Instagram page, director Ayan Mukerji wished RK on his birthday by releasing the Shiva Theme song. He wrote that it feels appropriate to release this today, Ranbir's, aka Shiva's, birthday, his Brahmastra theme music! He described it as spirituality, intensity, and fire.

In Brahmastra Amitabh Bachchan plays Raghu, the current Brahmansh leader and Guru of followers who have been recruited, and he uses the Prabhastra. As Junoon, played by Mouni Roy, she wants to restore the Brahmastra and free Dev.

As the artist and archaeologist, Anish Shetty, played by Nagarjuna Akkineni, is a Brahmansh and wielder of the Nandi Astra. In the role of Mohan Bhargav, played by Shah Rukh Khan, a Brahmansh who possessed Vanarastra and was a scientist, the character's name is a reference to his persona in the 2004 movie Swades.

Finally, there's an uncredited appearance by Deepika Padukone as Amrita, Shiva's mother and a former Brahmansh member who wielded the Jalastra.

Brahmastra hit the big screens on September 9, 2022. The second instalment is titled Brahmastra Part 2: Dev which is likely to be released in 2025.
