Various multiplexes across India cancelled War 2 screenings, according to Firstpost. This happened over the hiked ticket prices and no-show from theatre goers.

War 2 witnesses biggest dip at the Box Office on first Monday

Ayan Mukerji's War 2's poor Box Office performance became prominent over the first weekend. The movie which opened to more than Rs. 50 crore on the first two days of its release, saw a huge dip over the weekend. This is a rare case and happens when the viewers reject a movie. War 2 earned only a little above Rs. 30 crore on first Saturday and the same trend was observed on first Sunday, too. The movie's first Monday performance was even lower. The movie earned just Rs. 8.50 crore at the Box Office, according to Sacnilk. This is a clear indication that the film, just like Rajnikanth's Coolie in Tamil, was rejected by the viewers.
