Day 3 of the Coimbatore leg of Celebrity Cricket League 2026 concludes the group stage of the tournament and will determine the four teams who will head to Hyderabad next week for the semi-finals and the final. One team, the Bengal Tigers, is most definitely headed to the semis, having won all 3 of its matches. Which are the teams that will make the final four? Earlier this weekend, the Bengal Tigers beat the Kerala Strikers, Karnataka Bulldozers the Telugu Warriors, Punjab De Sher the Bhojpuri Dabanggs and the Kerala Strikers the Vels Chennai Kings. Based on these results a top 4 line up has come up, with the Tigers at the very top, followed by the Bulldozers and then, the Kerala Strikers and Punjab De Sher. But then, on January 25, the Bulldozers, Dabanggs, Kings and Mumbai Heroes will be back to wrap up the group stage and things could change again.

The Dabanggs have won 1 and lost 1 and should they beat the Bulldozers, their win percentage will be better than that of Punjab. The Bulldozers, with two wins are assured of a semi spot, but Punjab could be on shaky grounds, if the Dabanggs manage another win. Chennai’s match against the Heroes is unlikely to change the top order.

This time around, the Celebrity Cricket League lasts only 3 weekends, against the month-long cricketing action in earlier editions. The tournament concludes on February 1, 2026.
