Malayalam film, Chattuli, has made its digital debut today (October 20). Shine Tom Chacko, Jaffer Idukki, and Kalabhavan Shajohn play important parts in the movie, which is currently available for streaming on Manorama Max.

Nearly eight months after its February 21 theatrical debut, Chattuli made its digital debut on October 20, making it to the list of Diwali Malayalam releases on various popular OTT platforms. However, Chattuli barely received any attention during its initial announcement or following it big screen debut. Whether Chattuli will gain any traction after OTT release is uncertain.
On October 19, Mirage became available on SonyLiv via OTTplay Premium. Hakim Shahjahan, Aparna Balamurali, and Asif Ali all have significant roles in this Jeethu Joseph-directed thriller. On October 17, Zee5 and OTTPlay Premium began streaming Asif Ali's another recent film, Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali. Other films to make its OTT debut last week includes Imbam and Valsala Club.
Chattuli plot and cast details
An elderly blind tribal man named Maari (Jaffer Idukki) is introduced to the viewers in the movie. Maari warns of the dangers of the murky forest in Attappadi, saying it is a trap. Together, Maari and Kannan, a teenager, devise a plan of vengeance. The main focus of the film is how their journey turns into one of strength, survival, and painful redemption as the forest serves as a battlefield for their conflicting emotions.
Kalabhavan Shajohn plays a local politician, while Shine Tom Chacko portrays a police officer. Sruthy Jayan, Varsha Prasad, and Karthik Vishnu play supporting roles in the movie as well. The soundtracks for the one-hour and forty-eight-minute movie were composed by Justin Philipose, Rahul Raj, and Bijibal. Jayesh Mynagappally wrote the screenplay for the film. Shine Tom Chacko portrayed a police officer in Soothravakyam, his most recent movie. This thriller, which is currently available for streaming on Lionsgate Play through OTTplay Premium, also stars Vincy Aloshious and Deepak Parambol.
