Director Sharan Koppisetty presents this revelation in a gripping yet restrained manner, maintaining a steady build-up of tension. The film is produced by veteran filmmaker Suresh Babu, and the production values are neat and effective, though the pacing remains slow in parts.

Despite this, Cheekatilo has opened to a decent response on OTT, with viewers appreciating its suspense and narrative depth. Vishwadev Rachakonda, of 35: Chinna Katha Kaadu fame, plays a crucial role, while Amala, Jhansi, and Srinivas appear in key supporting parts.
