The much-awaited first single from Ajith's Thunivu, Chilla Chilla, was released last evening amid much hype. And as soon as the mass number was out, it took the internet by storm. Within a span of hours, the song has clocked more than 1 million views and is still going strong. The song has lyrics by Vaisagh and is sung by Anirudh Ravichander, Vaisagh and Ghibran. The Kuthu number has Ajith grooving in style along with a bunch of people. The lines that go,"Irupathu Oru Lifeu Adikka Cheers, have become a rage among Ajith fans.

Composer Ghibran had stated yesterday on his social media handle that it took him many years to compose his first ever single for Ajith and that he was extremely excited about the same. The composer wrote, "It took 4088 days since I began my film career to experience this moment in 50th film Love for #AK sir has spread into my life too.Hope i have done justice as one among you #ChillaChilla https://youtu.be/I7dRB7mTtLE #Thunivu #Ghibran50 (sic)."

Anirudh, who had earlier sung Ajith's Aaluma Doluma, has sung this peppy number in style as well. He, too, wrote, " "Happy to have sung the energetic #ChillaChilla for AK sir in a #HVinoth directorial for @GhibranOfficial and @VaisaghOfficial https://youtu.be/I7dRB7mTtLE #Thunivu (sic)."

Thunivu is gearing up to hit screens on the occasion of Pongal 2023. The film, which is said to be a heavy-duty action entertainer, has an ensemble cast which includes Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, GM Sundar, Veera, John Kokken, Ciby Chandran, Amir, Pavani Reddy to name a few. This will be Manju Warrier's second outing in Tamil after her debut in Vetri Maaran's Asuran. The film is likely to have some interesting bike stunts as well, just like in director H Vinoth's previous venture Valimai. The film has been bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.
