Chitrangda Singh recalls the first time she was supposed to work with Salman Khan

Although Chitrangda and Salman Khan are working together on the Battle of Galwan now, their first-time collaboration was supposed to happen years ago. The actress recalled how she almost worked with Bhaijaan on a Marathi remake by Mahesh Manjrekar, but the film never took off. Keeping his promise, years later, Salman cast Chitrangda in Apoorva Lakhia's Battle of Galwan. "I still remember Mr. Khan saying there is always a next time to work together," the actress shared in a media statement.

Chitrangda Singh roped in as the female lead in Battle of Galwan

While many expected to see a known face in Battle of Galwan, they were surprised when they found out that Chitrangda Singh is the female lead in Battle of Galwan. Nonetheless, Bhai fans are elated to see what the duo would bring to the table. Although prep for Battle of Galwan has commenced, the movie is expected to go on floors soon.

Housefull 5 was a Box Office superhit (one of the highest-grossing movies of 2025). The film starred Chitrangda as one of the female leads, and of course, it was led by Akshay Kumar. The other stars on the movie included Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Johnny Lever, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Nana Patekar among others.
