Chitrangda Singh has been roped in as the female lead of Salman Khan's Battle of Galwan. This means that she and Salman Khan work together in a movie for the first time ever. She was director Apoorva Lakhia's pick, and the director has spilled what he hopes out of her.

What to expect out of Chitrangda Singh's appearance in Battle of Galwan

"I've always wanted to work with Chitrangda since I watched her amazing performance in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and then Bob Biswas," Apoorva Lakhia said about actress in a media statement, adding, "She brings a rare blend of strength and sensitivity to the screen as her feminine side will match perfectly with Salman sir’s brooding but quiet strength." The filmmaker sought an actress who showed resilience, vulnerability, and emotional depth. Chitrangda fit into the bracket perfectly.

Battle of Galwan filming is expected to begin towards the end of 2025. Salman is currently prepping for the movie and his video for the same went viral. The actor’s transformation, in itself, got the fans talking about how Bhai is back and will bring something new to the table.

Chitrangda was last seen in Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5. The movie became a Box Office hit, and featured actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Johnny Lever and Nana Patekar.
