The first week of collections for Rohit Shetty's movie, which stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role, were underwhelming. Despite being released over a holiday weekend, the movie did not garner favourable reviews from critics, and after a disappointing opening weekend, its box office collections fell significantly over the course of the following week. It is therefore improbable that the movie will gross beyond 40 crores.

Despite having a stellar ensemble that included Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Pooja Hegde, among others, Circus failed to impress both critics and audience. Because of this, the movie is having trouble attracting people to theatres. The movie's revenues deteriorated rapidly after its release. Regarding the movie's Friday profits, Rohit Shetty's film has only made one crore rupees on the eighth day. The movie has now made a total of Rs 31 Cr.

The movie's financial future are not altogether gloomy, if trade reports are to be believed. While its box office performance is predicted to be poor, it is anticipated to make a sizable amount of money from non-theatrical sources like satellite, digital, and music sales. These sources are anticipated to generate 135 crore, which will go toward the movie's production costs, which are anticipated to be between 155 and 160 crore.

Unfortunately, the film's producer and director, Rohit Shetty, would not be able to recover the expected 30–40 crore fee even with this non-theatrical revenue. This is because it is anticipated that the movie's theatrical share, or the amount of money made from sales of tickets in theatres, will be less than 25 crores.

Rohit Shetty is the director and producer of the historical comedy Cirkus. In addition to Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Johnny Lever, and Mukesh Tiwari, among others, it stars Ranveer Singh in a double role.
