Code Name: Tiranga teaser- Parineeti Chopra puts her life on the line for her country

Parineeti Chopra is channeling her inner action heroine yet again for her upcoming film, Code Name: Tiranga. The film will see her take on the role of a RAW agent who embarks upon a dangerous mission for the sake of her country. The makers recently unveiled the teaser of the upcoming patriotic film which gives a glimpse of Chopra’s badass action avatar.

The short teaser hints at a story revolving around a complex, covert mission beyond Indian borders. Chopra gives a glimpse of the action packed ride in store for viewers as she faces off against bad guys, guns blazing.

Chopra shared the teaser on her official Instagram handle and captioned it “Honoured to be a part of this mission for my country. Excited to be collaborating with two of my favs! @harrdysandhu and @ribhu_dasgupta ! Let the ACTION BEGIN! #CodeNameTiranga”

The upcoming film was written and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. The film marks Dasgupta and Chopra’s second collaboration together, after their 2021 film, The Girl on the Train.

In addition to Chopra, the upcoming film also features Harrdy Sandhu, Sharad Kelkar, Rajit Kapur, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Shishir Sharma, Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Deesh Mariwala in pivotal roles. The espionage action thriller marks Sandhu’s second Bollywood film. The singer had made his Bollywood debut last year, sharing the screen with Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan’s 83.

Code Name: Tiranga was produced under the banners of T-Series, Reliance Entertainment, and Film Hangar, and will be released in theatres on October 14, 2022.

Meanwhile, Chopra’s upcoming releases also include Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai, which will see her share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta and Sarika. The actress also has Tinu Suresh Desai’s Capsule Gill, starring Akshay Kuamr, also in the pipeline.
