Popular star Adivi Sesh leads the upcoming Telugu film Dacoit: Oka Prema Katha, which also stars actress Mrunal Thakur. Directed by Shaneil Deo, the film is set to release in theatres on April 10, 2026, after getting postponed amid the Dhurandhar 2 craze. Dacoit: Oka Prema Katha will drop on Prime Video after its theatrical run.

Amazon Prime Video on March 19, unveiled its slate for 2026, revealing the list of series and movies set to premiere on streaming giant. Adivi Sesh’s upcoming film Dacoit also made it to the Prime Video’s list and will start streaming after its theatrical run.
Mrunal Thakur has been paired opposite Adivi Sesh, marking their first collaboration, which has sparked buzz among the Telugu fans. During the Prime Video event on Thursday, Adivi Sesh showered praise on Mrunal, calling her the soul of the film. Earlier there were reports that Shruti Haasan would play the female lead, but she opted out due to creative differences and Mrunal was roped in.

Filmmaker-actor Anurag Kashyap also plays a key role in the film. He will reportedly be seen in an antagonist role. The other significant roles will be played byPrakash Raj, Sunil and Kodati Pavan Kalyan handles editing.
The upcoming movie stars Adivi Sesh in the lead role, wrongfully accused of a crime and convicted. But he escapes prison and frames his former girlfriend. Dacoit: Oka Prema Katha will explore themes of love, betrayal and revenge. Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo have worked on the story and screenplay. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music director, while Kodati Pavan Kalyan handles editing.
Dacoit will release in theatres on April 10. Earlier, the Adivi Sesh movie was scheduled to release on March 27, 2026, but the film was postponed coming a week after Dhurandhar 2 on March 19.
