Delhi Crime season 3 trailer has exposed a whole new world, one where Huma Qureshi’s Badi Didi and Shefali Shah’s Madam Sir are in a constant battle to outwit the other. It is a war against time, where one is working to free humans from the mafia while the other wants to expand what has become her business. Huma herself confessed during the trailer launch that it is her ‘worst character yet,’ while Shefali Shah stated how Madam Sir is ‘itching to get back’ on field and get her hands dirty after being away from home.

While speaking about her character at the event, Shefali Shah said, "Every case, every moment brings a different reaction from a person. Same crime, a year ago, she'd react differently. She's grown and become the IG but she's been moved away from her home and team. She's itching to get back. She's in a position where she can just use her mind and get stuff done, but Vartika likes to get her hands dirty. So, she wants to jump right in and do it."

Huma Qureshi, on the other hand, candidly mentioned how she would not even interact with Shefali Shah so as to stay in character. Calling herself a huge fan of the series, Huma describes the casting call as 'the kid who got their favourite toy to play with.'

Praising her co-stars while never losing eye contact with Shefali Shah, Huma added, "It’s an honour to take the story forward and I know that I had to bring in my A-game because all of them are such loved characters that have been supported year after year, season after season." She further said, "Bahut mazza aaya. They were so welcoming. It didn't feel like I was a new member." Huma pointed out how she and Sayani Gupta had most scenes together, while also stating, "This is the worst character I've ever played. I've always made sure that my female character has a perspective. It's very negative. I was in two minds when it came to playing the character. Evil suits me."

While thanking her team for the opportunity to be a part of Delhi Crime season 3, Sayani Gupta explained how she could not imagine her own self in the role of Kusum. Describing her character, she added, "I think the character of Kusum is incredible. There is no right or wrong, or boundary for her. She's a hustler, a survivor and will do anything in her capacity to just survive. We spoke about the kind of character she'd be, and she'd be a little rat. I channel the little mice inside of me for Kusum. Playing a grey character, you can be anything, do anything and there is no judgement! It is so fun."
