Shefali Shah starrer Delhi Crime Season 2 recently arrived on Netflix and garnered immense praise from the audience as well as critics. Created by Richie Mehta, the show is running successfully on the OTT and gathering applauds to all the actors for their great performances.

Reportedly, the work on the third season has already begun and there’s also a chance the show is already in its pre-production stage, however, there have been no official confirmations made from the makers yet.

According to a report on readysteadycut.com, a completed script is in existence and the official announcement for Delhi Crime Season 3 will be out soon. Apparently, the show will be out with its third part in late 2023 or early 2024.

The first season of the Richie Mehta directorial is the only Indian web series ever to win the Outstanding Drama Series Emmy. Delhi Crime season 1 focuses on the 2012 Nirbhaya case and showcases the aftermath and investigation of the heinous crime.

Meanwhile, the latest part deals with a mysterious case of serial killings of aged people in the posh provinces of Delhi.

One of the Twitter users wrote, "Watched this very taut and gripping crime thriller series 2 last night. While mainstream BW cinema is in the dumps, this is a fantastic example of film making with real actors. A must watch! (Sic)."
