Devika & Danny: Ritu Varma announces new OTT series, where to watch the romantic drama

Post the debacle of Mazaka, Ritu Varma is now ready with her new series Devika & Danny. The first look poster is out now and also stars Shiva Kandukuri.

Ritu Varma is one of the most popular actors in Telugu cinema, but has not gotten her talent's worth. She has done a plethora of work but has not broken into the top league. Ritu played the female lead in her last film, Mazaka but sadly, the comedy caper failed to click with the audience.

Now, she is gearing up for her new web series that will be streaming on Jio Hotstar soon. Titled Devika & Danny, the series also features Shiva Kandukuri as the male lead. The first look poster candidly showcases Ritu and Shiva. The news is that the Pelli Choopulu actress will be seen in the role of a school teacher.

Jio Hotstar has announced that the teaser of the series will be out soon, followed by the trailer. A special aspect of the series is that it is directed by Sreekaram fame B. Kishore. Ritu has the central role in this series, which is made on a decent budget.

For Shiva Kandukuri, Devika & Danny is an important project as he is playing a strong role in the web series. The social romantic drama is being produced by Joy Films and also stars Surya Vasshistta, Subbaraju, Mounika Reddy, Soniya Singh, and Chaganti Sudhakar in key roles.

Jay Krish has composed the music for the series, which has completed its shoot and is currently in post-production. Ritu Varma is a very talented actress and has done some endearing roles in her career. She has pinned a lot of hopes on this project to make a comeback.
