Dhandoraa is a new-age social drama that has some of the most popular actors from Telugu cinema in key roles. The other day, the makers revealed the teaser, and it impressed one and all.

Allu Arjun appreciates Dhandoraa

The village drama is based on honor killings and has been directed by Murali Kanth on a decent budget. The makers are happy that the teaser has become popular, but little did they imagine that a superstar like Allu Arjun would like the teaser.

Speaking to OTTplay, director Murali reveals that he was pleasantly surprised when he got a call from Allu Arjun, who loved the teaser immensely and called him to appreciate the promo.

“The moment Allu Arjun started talking about the film, I went blue and could not process what he was saying. I remember his words—he said he was excited to watch the film on the big screen,” says Murali Kanth.

Dhandoraa has Sivaji, Navdeep, Bindu Madhavi, Ravi, and Nandu in key roles. It has been quite a long time since so many seasoned Telugu actors appeared in a film, and that is one of the major reasons for the teaser going viral.

Murali Kanth has narrated the story in such a way that it showcases various actors in tense situations and how they handle pressure. There is a lot of scope for every actor to showcase their acting prowess, and this aspect, Murali Kanth says, was loved by Allu Arjun in the promo.

Slated to hit the screens on December 25, 2025, Sai Karthik has composed the music for this film. Speaking at the teaser launch, Sivaji stated that Dhandoraa is his favorite film to date and that his performance will stun one and all.

Navdeep makes a comeback with yet another intense role in this film and, too, says that Dhandoraa will bring him back into the game. It is quite rare that someone like Allu Arjun praises a film, and now that he has shown interest in Dhandoraa, the village drama will surely get a lot of traction.
