The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Dhoomakethu, have dropped an update on its production today (February 27). It has been confirmed that the movie's shooting has been completed with its post-production works to begin soon. Nikhila Vimal and Sajin Gopu are playing the lead parts in this flick.

In the meanwhile, it is reasonable to speculate that the film may hit theatres by the middle of 2026. On December 1, the movie's title poster and switch-on ceremony were held in Kochi with the backing of the producers of Sookshmadarshini. The other actors in the film are Ganapathi, Siddharth Bharathan, and Shine Tom Chacko. Sookshmadarshini, starring Nazriya and Basil Joseph, is available on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium.
