BMC issued a show-clause notice to Aditya Dhar’s production house B62 Studios, along with Komal Pokhriyal and Nasir Khan, for safety violations on the Mumbai sets of Dhurandhar 2. The movie is being filmed on a building terrace and using two generator vans. Their police undertakings prohibited the use of gas cylinders, crackers and flammable materials. This could cause a blacklisting of the studios to film in Mumbai.

“They were well aware of these safety measures. They were granted permission to shoot in Mumbai around older buildings on the condition that they will adhere to it. They assured the BMC that they will follow the rules but violated them instead,” a source told Bombay Times.

The birdie informed that they could be at the risk of being blacklisted from submitting applications for filming permissions in the city. Bhushan Gagrani from the BMC pointed out that the blacklisting cannot happen before hearing the makers’ point of view and thus, the two are in talks regarding the matter.

Will the matter disrupt Dhurandhar 2 filming and eventual release?

Dhurandhar’s both parts are already shot. Currently, the makers are reshooting scenes just for additional measures. So, it is unlikely that the disruption in shoot will affect the film’s release.
