Dhurandhar 2 vs Aadu 3 Kerala advance booking: Is Ranveer Singh thriller or Jayasura’s film leading the race?

March 19 will see the big release of Hindi thriller Dhurandhar 2 and the Malayalam comedy film Aadu 3. Both much-awaited films have recorded good pre-sales in Kerala.

We are just three days away from the big release of the Hindi movie Dhudrandhar 2 led by Bollywood star Ranveer Singh on March 19, 2026. Like the rest of India, the Hindi film is expected to have a solid opening in Kerala too. Another much-anticipated Malayalam film Aadu 3 will also be releasing on the same day and the actor Jayasurya-led comedy film also has a huge fan following. Both films are reporting good pre-sales in Kerala, let’s check out whether Ranveer Singh's thriller or Jayasurya's film is leading in the Kerala advance booking.

How much Dhurandhar 2 earned in Kerala pre-sales

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the sequel to the director Aditya Dhar’s hugely popular spy thriller, is raking in monstrous figures even before release. The tracking website Sacnilk has reported that Dhurandhar 2 has crossed Rs 100 crore in pre-sales for the opening weekend worldwide. In Kerala, the Hindi film has recorded close to Rs 16 lakh in gross, with 411 shows on day 1, according to Sacnilk. Online trackers have also reported that the Ranveer Singh-led thriller made over Rs 85 lakh from the premiere shows on March 18. With the combined figures, Dhurandhar has crossed Rs 1 crore in Kerala advance booking.

In Dhurandhar films, Ranveer Singh stars as the undercover Indian intelligence agent, infiltrating terror networks across the border. Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Sara Arjun are also part of the film.

How much has Aadu 3 made in advance booking

The third installment of the Aadu franchise has also crossed Rs 1 crore in pre-sales at the Kerala box office, as per data shared by online trackers. Director Midhun Manuel Thomas has also said that around 70K tickets have been sold in 24 hours, showing strong interest for the popular comedy film.

These figures show that both the films are in a neck-and-neck fight at the Kerala box office.

Aadu 3 will continue with the tale of Shaji Pappan and his gang of buddies, tracking their hilarious misadventures. Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan, Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatty, and Indrans are part of the film, which will unfold over two timelines.

Not just Dhurandhar 2 and Aadu 2, two other films are also releasing this coming Thursday - the Tamil romantic drama Youth and Telugu star Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh. But these are unlikely to make much of an impact at the Kerala box office.
