Dhurandhar Box Office collection day 21: Ranveer Singh-starrer beats Kantara: Chapter 1 to be 2025’s highest-grossing Indian film

Ranveer Singh-led Dhurandhar saw a huge Box Office jump on Christmas holiday. The movie, which was earning in the range of Rs. 17 crore, saw nearly double the earnings on its third Thursday, which was Christmas day. Owing to that, Dhurandhar is now the highest-grossing film of 2025. Currently, Dhurandhar is the highest-grossing film of 2025 after beating Kantara: Chapter 1’s net collections on day 21.

Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, earned Rs. 26 crore at the Box Office on day 21 i.e. its third Thursday, according to Sacnilk. The total net collection for the movie currently stands at Rs. 633.50 crore.

Dhurandhar is the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025

Dhurandhar easily surpassed Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 as well as Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava Box Office on day 20. The movie even beat Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 on day 21 to become the highest-grossing film of 2025. The Kannada-origin film had earned Rs. 622 crore net at the Box Office, and Dhurandhar has already earned over Rs. 630 crore net on Christmas. Nonetheless, Dhurandhar, also starring Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Sara Arjun, among others, is yet to beat Shah Rukh Khan's National Award-winning film Jawan's Box Office record of Rs. 640 crore. Given the Box Office trend, it will easily break the record before its fourth weekend.

Dhurandhar comes as tough competition to recent releases

While Dhurandhar has been a constant competition to movies for nearly three weeks, the film now faces Kartik Aaryan-Ananya Panday's Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri at the Box Office. The film is backed by Karan Johar and had some demand owing to their chemistry. Whether Dhurandhar or TMMTMTTM leave a stronger impact over the weekend remains to be seen.
