Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, with a star-studded ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal and others continues to grow at the box office with an impressive collection of Rs 22.25 crore (early estimates) on Day 24. The movie turned out to be a massive blockbuster of the year and it defeated Chhava, Kantara Chapter 1 and Saiyaara to become the highest-grossing film of the year. The gripping action thriller film has smashed the record of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan as it became the seventh highest-grossing Indian film in history. Earlier it beat Kalki 2898 AD and Animal in the category. After surpassing the 1050 crore mark, Dhurandhar (Rs 1051 crore) has secured the seventh place and now eyes to defeat Jawan with a record-breaking worldwide collection.

Dhurandhar holds strong at the box office with a decent collection on Sunday (December 28) even with clashes from Hollywood films like Avatar 3 and Anaconda.

Dhurandhar minted Rs 22.25 (early estimates) crore, which makes a total in the domestic earnings of Rs 690.25 crore according to Sacnilk. It covered an overall Hindi occupancy of 42.27% on December 28 (Sunday).

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar is directed by URI filmmaker Aditya Dhar. Anchored by a star-studded ensemble, it centers around secret spies, betrayal, and criminal gangs.
