Shashwat Sachdev makes Telugu debut

Dhurandhar is one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema and is now ruling the roost on OTT. One of the major reasons for the film’s success is the outstanding music composed by the young and dynamic Shashwat Sachdev. His songs have become a rage and have broken multiple records on music charts.

The latest update is that Shashwat is all set to make his South Indian debut. He has been roped in for superstar Ram Charan’s new production, The India House, which features Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead role. On the occasion of Shashwat’s birthday recently, the makers of The India House officially announced his association through a new poster.

Sources close to the film reveal that Shashwat Sachdev has already composed four songs for The India House, and they have turned out extremely well. The makers are expected to release the first single very soon.

While many believe that Ram Charan signed Shashwat after the massive success of Dhurandhar, sources clarify that Ram Charan was deeply impressed by Shashwat’s work in Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike and finalized him for the project even before Dhurandhar was signed. Saiee Manjrekar plays the female lead in this film.

Directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, The India House has been in production for quite some time. Nikhil Siddhartha has pinned high hopes on this period drama, and with Shashwat currently at the top of his game, the film is expected to make headlines in the coming days.

Alongside The India House, Nikhil has also completed another film, Swayambu, which recently wrapped up its shoot. The release date of this period drama will also be announced by the makers at a very grand event.

Meanwhile, all eyes are now on the music of Dhurandhar 2. Audiences are eager to see what kind of album Shashwat has composed for the sequel. Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, is slated to hit the screens on March 19, 2026.

Given the success of the first part, the Ranveer Singh starrer is expected to take a record opening. Once the album of Dhurandhar 2 is released, the makers of The India House are also planning to unveil their songs.
