Dies Irae's makers restrict improper conduct in theatres

On the second day of its theatrical run, the new card was introduced because some of the audience members were making noises, commenting on spoilers, or laughing within the theatre. Many others on social media channels shared how these activities damaged their viewing experience, which brought this to light.

"This movie is about horror. The new card in Dies Irae's title sequence reads, "Please avoid unnecessary noise or disturbances that may spoil the proper viewing experience of the movie."

Some have also noted that the Malayali audience, who are renowned for their sensitivity and passion for films, should not be expected to act in such an inappropriate manner. Additionally, a viewer reported that he could hear someone behind him loudly revealing spoilers, which affected his theatrical experience of the movie.

Dies Irae running successfully in theatres

The horror thriller's global run at the box office is going really well. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film's net collections in India grew over the weekend to Rs 16.75 crore on day four of its release. Given that the Rahul Sadasivan-directed film elicited conflicting opinions over the weekend, these figures are outstanding. Pranav Mohanlal's film has already surpassed Unni Mukundan's Marco to become the biggest A-rated grosser in Mollywood.

Rahul Sadasivan also held special paid premieres for the movie a day before its release date, which received positive reviews from everyone who watched it. Important roles are also played by Arun Ajikumar, Jaya Kurup, Swathi Das Prabhu, Jibin Gopinath, and Sushmita Bhat. After Bramayugam and Bhoothakaalam, this is Rahul Sadasivan's fourth directorial.
