DNA ending explained:

In the film, Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan play Anand and Divya respectively. After the former turns into an alcoholic following his lover’s suicide, his family gets him married to Divya, a woman with borderline personality disorder. The families think that they are better off with each other, and the couple indeed get along well. But their life turns upside down when Divya gives birth to their firstborn and she says that the infant handed over to her is not theirs. This sets Anand to find their real baby, in turn discovering a bugger network of crime.

To cut short the two-hour long story, Anand who solely relies on Divya’s maternal instincts saying that their child is elsewhere, sets out to find their real child. With the help of Chinnasamy, a head constable due for retirement in a few weeks, Anand keeps scrutinizing the CCTV camera of the hospital during the time of birth and identify a discrepancy of 20 seconds. This leads him to catch hold of a nurse, an old lady who play vital links in the child-trafficking network. It is revealed that the nurse has a lookalike twin who is part of the crime network, and the old lady uses bags to kidnap the infants out of the hospital.

The emotional climax of DNA explained

As Anand connects the dots and catch one bigger fish after the other in the network, it leads him to Varadarajan. The latter reveals about him orchestrating the network of child kidnapping. His modus operandi comes from his cloud networking through which he was able to access the records of the hospital and abduct babies and sell them to those in need of them.

Varadarajan was approached by an US couple to get them a child born on a certain auspicious time. It so happens that the child happens to be Anand and Divya's. As the couple gets handed over with the baby at the temple by Varadarajan, it so happens that Divya is also present at the same temple. A glimpse is enough for Divya for her maternal instincts to kick in as she identifies her baby. Anand faces off Varadarajan as the couple retrieve their baby.
