Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude is gearing up for a festive release for the occasion of Diwali. The makers have already released the first single Oorum Blood from the film, and it has become a catchy number that grows on you. Now, the latest update is that the second song Nallaru Po, will be released on social media on Friday.

Director and actor Pradeep Ranganathan’s next film Dude, is only a month away from hitting theatres. The film is written and directed by Kirtheeswaran in his directorial debut. Recently, the first single from the film album, Oorum Blood, has been making waves on social media.

Following this, the second song has been titled Nallaru Po. From the title, it looks to be a love failure song. Nallaru Po is composed by Sai Abhyankkar, with lyrics by Vivek in Tamil, and Ramajogaiah Sastry in Telugu. The song will be released on Friday.

Dude stars Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, and features Mamitha Baiju, Sarathkumar, Rohini Molleti, Hridhu Haroon, and others. The film will mark Sai Abhyankkar’s debut as music composer in Tamil, even as his first film to hit theatres will be Malayalam sports drama Balti (due on September 26).

Dude OTT partner, release date

The film will release in theatres on October 17. Interestingly, Pradeep’s another film Love Insurance Kompany has also been announced to release on the same day. However, it looks like the latter will look for another date, given the OTT rights are yet to be finalised.

Meanwhile, Dude’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Netflix. Even with LIK out of the Diwali race, Dude will still be competing with Dhruv Vikram and Mari Selvaraj's sports drama Bison and Harish Kalyan’s actioner Diesel. All the films are releasing on October 17 for Diwali.
