Dunki: Taapsee Pannu shares excitement on sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani’s movie

Taapsee Pannu is currently filming Dunki a film starring Shah Rukh Khan. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, and fans are excited to see SRK and Taapsee as a couple on the big screen. Taapsee Pannu's excitement and anticipation knew no bounds after landing a role alongside Shah Rukh Khan in a Rajkumar Hirani film.

Taapsee expressed her excitement, telling Hindustan Times that it is likely the biggest film she has ever gotten. It appears to be too good to be true, according to the actress. The actress stated that she never expected to reach this level of success so early in her career. Taapsee also stated that she was not announcing or discussing it because she did not want to jinx it in any way.

When asked about her immediate reaction to learning she'd be starring in such a big project, Pannu says, "There's no shying away from accepting that I don't know if it can ever get bigger than this for me." As a result, my unbelief in being a part of it stayed till I reported on set and the first day of shooting was completed."

While asked which was more enjoyable, being directed by Hirani or sharing the screen with Khan, the actress replied that both are enjoyable in their own ways. Movies, according to Taapsee, are a director's medium, and because she is not a professional actor, she gets very excited to find out who will direct her.

She was most looking forward to spending time with Shah Rukh sir off-screen, where she could just sit down and talk with him because she adores his personality outside of his films, the cleverness, sense of humor, experience, and truthfulness in which he tells a story about his experiences.

Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is set to be released on December 22.
