The gifted actor recently spoke with OTTplay in an exclusive interview about how easily he enters the soul of his characters and brings something special to each role he performs in both movies and TV shows. He said: "It’s practice and paying attention to the craft. I couldn’t go to the theatre or acting school so I had to learn a lot of things through reading books and observations and through experience."

"But around my early 20s, I realized that it’s a craft and I have to pay attention to it. I think all of those years of paying attention, to things, learnings, and watching a lot of great actors from all different corners of the world so I think that influenced my acting. Main chor bhi hoon, chori chori karta hoon. Nakal nahi karta, main chori karta hoon (I am a thief too; I steal stealthily. I don't mimic; I steal). I put all of those things together and I think that has become my way of learning,” Gulshan added.
