The romantic-comedy K-drama is releasing on November 12 only on Netflix. Dynamite Kiss consists of fourteen episodes, and every week on Wednesdays and Thursdays two episodes will be dropped till December 29, 2025.
While Jang Ki-yong, Ahn Eun-jin, Kim Mu-jun and Woo Da-vi will be seen in the lead roles, Shin Joo-hyup, Park Jung-yeon, Jung Soo-young, and Jung Hwan will be seen in supporting roles.
The K-drama focuses on a workplace romance that highlights the office dynamics of the lead characters. The team leader Ji-hyuk is described as sharp and calm, which is a stark contrast to new joinee Ko Da-rim's desperate scheme to land a permanent position in the company. The tension between them will likely come from the couple navigating their budding feelings while Da-rim tries to keep her big secret under wraps.
Dynamite Kiss is expected to be a light-hearted and comical elements filled K-drama, while highlighting social issues like workplace discrimination against single women, making her lie about being married. The K-drama aims to deliver a feel-good experience with strong lead character chemistry.
SBS TV dropped the first-look of Dynamite Kiss recently, showcasing a young woman who takes her marriage to grab the job she has applied for so long. However, things take more dramatic turn in her life when she accidentally kisses her team leader, creating misunderstandings between them.
However, the leader soon gets hurt and confused by their shared kiss when he learns that the woman is married. He confronts her, which leads to a witty and emotional exchange. The teaser also features stills of Kim Mu-jun as the woman's best friend and her 'fake' husband. His caring nature towards the woman suggest he will be part of an intensifying love triangle and give a second lead syndrome.
