On March 10, Aamir Khan Productions announced that the trailer of Ek Din will be released on March 11. They also shared a new poster featuring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan. The poster promises a heartwarming love story.

Meanwhile, Arijit Singh has sung the title track of Aamir Khan's upcoming romantic film 'Ek Din'.

After Arijit Singh announced his retirement from Bollywood playback singing, Aamir Khan paid a surprise private visit to the singer’s ancestral home in Jiaganj in February 2026. On February 9, Aamir Khan Productions shared a picture of the two engaged in discussion on Instagram. Sharing the moment, the text on the picture read, "Thank you Arijit, for lending your voice to our film, Ek Din. The 4 days spent with you, your family, and your team felt magical."

They captioned the post, "Thank you, Arijit, for bringing so much heart to the music of Ek Din." Aamir Khan personally worked on the song with Arijit Singh and the session was held in the singer's hometown.

Ek Din is the official remake of the Thai film One Day. It follows Rohan (Junaid), who secretly loves his colleague Meera (Sai Pallavi). During a company trip, he gets the chance to spend just one day with her, turning a silent, unspoken love into an emotional journey.
