When a theft and a murder shake up the peaceful atmosphere, he becomes embroiled in a complex investigation that uncovers a sinister medical conspiracy involving the legend of a priceless emerald. The Eken Babu series is based on stories by Sujan Dasgupta and centres on an unassuming detective whose brilliance lies beneath his ordinary demeanour. Despite his quirky habits and seemingly simple nature, Eken consistently relies on keen observation and sharp intellect to unravel complex mysteries, making him a uniquely endearing and effective sleuth.
