Eko vs Vilaayath Budha day 3 box office collection: The Sandeep Pradeep-starrer is leading the charge, while Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film fails to even earn Rs 1 crore on its day 3.

Eko vs Vilaayath Budha day 3 box office collection: November 21, 2025, saw two major Malayalam releases, both of which came with their own sets of expectations. While one was led by Prithivrak Sukumaran’s star power, the other had the tag of being the next project from the makers of the hit Kishkindha Kaandam. But looks like Eko, led by young actor Sandeep Pradeep, is leading the charge at the box office game with Rs 5.80 crore earned in India net collections, while Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film is left lagging behind at Rs 3.50 crore and failing to even earn Rs 1 crore on its day 3.

Helmed by Dinjith Ayyathan, Eko made Rs 3.15 crore on its day 3 at the box office, while Prithviraj’s film made only Rs 0.80 crore in early estimates, as per trade tracker Sacnilk. It is notable that a single day of Eko collection is just a little short of the overall net india collection of Vilaayath Budha which is only Rs 3.50 crore. The total India collections of Eko now stand at Rs 5.80 crore. The worldwide collections of Eko are at Rs 6.85 crore.
Vilaayath Budha, helmed by Jayan Nambiar, was the bigger film among the two, and clocked better opening numbers at Rs 1.7 crore. Eko failed to break into Rs 1 crore on day 1 and had to settle for 0.8 crore. But better reviews and positive feedback meant that the tables turned right from day 2 when Eko recorded more than double its opening day figures with Rs 1.85 crore. Vilaayath Budha’s numbers dropped to Rs 1 crore, but it saw a major slip on day 3, clocking below Rs 1 crore with just Rs 0.80 crore in early estimates.
