Kangana Ranaut's first look as Indira Gandhi from the upcoming film Emergency is out. On Wednesday, Kangana Ranaut created curiosity and excitement when she informed her fans that her look will be out soon.

On July 13, the diva took to her Instagram story and mentioned a note for her fans and told them to subscribe to the YouTube channel of her production house named Manikarnika Films to watch her first look from the upcoming film on Thursday.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, she shared her extraordinary look poster as well as a small teaser as India's first female Prime Minister from her highly anticipated movie.

At first, she shared the poster sporting the whole look of Indira Gandhi. The Instagram post reads, "Presenting #EmergencyFirstLook! Portraying one of the most powerful and controversial women in the history of the world… #Emergency shoot begins (Sic)."

A few minutes after that she unveiled the promo video that sees a man answering a phone and later informing the actress that the US President wants to know can he address her as Madam, to which the actress replied, "Alright!" She further adds, "Just a minute, tell the President of the United States of America that in my office everyone addresses me as Sir and not Madam."

Apart from the YouTube Channel of her production giant, Kangana took to her official Instagram handle to unveil the video as well and captioned, "Presenting ‘Her’who was called ‘Sir’ #Emergency shoot begins (sic)."

The actress' perfect impersonation as Indira Gandhi is praise-worthy.

Apart from starring and producing the movie, Kangana will be seen directing Emergency as well. In an earlier interview with HT, the actress said that she is pleased to wear a director’s hat again and after working and researching the upcoming movie, she has realised that no one can direct the film better than her. "Collaborating with fabulous writer Ritesh Shah, even if it means sacrificing on various acting assignments I am determined to do it, my excitement is high," she added.
