ENE Repeat is the official sequel to director Tharun Bhascker's cult hit Ee Nagaraniki Emanindi. Vishwak Sen and Abhinav Gomatam play leads in the film.

After the super success of Pelli Choopulu director Tharun Bhascker delivered a buddy comedy titled Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, which went on to become a decent hit at the box office. Though the film did not break records upon release, its popularity grew steadily over the years thanks to social media memes, pop-culture references, and repeat value.

Today, the film enjoys cult status among the youth and is considered one of Telugu cinema’s most loved friendship dramas. Now, Tharun Bhascker is back with the much-awaited sequel titled ENE Repeat, and the film has recently gone on floors.
However, the project began on a slightly dull note as one of the lead actors, Sushanth Reddy, walked out of the film just days before the shoot commenced. His sudden exit surprised many fans, especially given the strong following of the original cast.
The latest update is that Animal and HIT fame Srinath Maganti has stepped in to replace Sushanth and has already joined the shoot. Addressing the change, director Tharun Bhascker clarified that Sushanth exited the project due to personal reasons and that the character remains intact. He also admitted that the team was initially shaken by the development but decided to move forward positively.
For Srinath Maganti, this is a big opportunity. Despite being a familiar face, he is yet to score a solid hit as a lead or prominent supporting actor. Being part of a cult sequel like ENE Repeat could significantly boost his career.
Srinath is best known for playing Rashmika Mandanna’s brother in Animal and a supporting cop role in HIT: The First Case. He is also slowly expanding his presence in Hindi cinema.
The sequel once again stars Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu in lead roles. Reports suggest that the script has changed to Sushanth’s exit, with the makers upping the comedy quotient.
This time, the friends are set to go on a bigger holiday adventure, promising louder laughs and crazier situations. With expectations running high, it remains to be seen how Srinath Maganti fits into this beloved franchise. Stay tuned for more updates on ENE Repeat.
