Euphoria season 2 trailer: Zendaya as Rue Bennett tries to recover from drugs and remembers her past

Euphoria 2 has been slated to release on January 9 and will be available to stream on HBO Max.

The official trailer of Euphoria season 2 is here. The Zendaya starrer teen drama series also stars Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira among others.

The trailer begins with Zendaya’s Rue Benett carrying a suitcase to a support group meeting to get herself out of the drug addiction. The lead actress’ voice comes from the background where she elaborates her love at first sight with a girl, simultaneously the video glimpses her first encounter with the latter. She further says, “As soon as I saw her, I was just immediately afraid to lose her.” The Spider-Man: No Way Home actress can be seen dragging her trolley bag everywhere, even when she is cycling. The latest video glimpses on other characters of the show and their drug issues as well.

In her latest Instagram post, the dune actor mentioned that the second season of Euphoria was long due and now the cast and crew are back on the screen with the much-awaited instalment. She shared the new video as well. The actress also mentioned the release date of the forthcoming show.

Based on the Israeli miniseries of the same name, the American teen drama series has been helmed by Sam Levinson and created by the duo Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin.

The story of the highly-anticipated show shines on the reality of what the high school students in the West are getting involved in drugs and similar cultures.

Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, and Colman Domingo are the other set of the cast who will be seen in the upcoming series.
